What is the Israel and Palestine conflict about, and why is it so difficult to solve?
Such a seemingly straightforward question about the Palestine and Israel conflict is, in reality, a complex web of issues that elicit a spirited discussion with many answers and views. It encompasses land rights, religion, indigenous rights, terrorism, human rights, apartheid, international law, and thousands of years of history. For the uninitiated, the conflict can appear overwhelming due to its longevity and the intricacy of situations, making it challenging to discern the truth. The quest for objective information, upon which to form one's opinion, is a daunting task.
Before we embark on our exploration, it's crucial to clarify that I hold no hatred, dislike, or prejudice toward any group involved in the Israel and Palestine conflict. As a Black American woman from the rural South of the United States, I share a personal connection with oppressed people and stand in solidarity with all oppressed individuals across the globe. I welcome discussions on any content perceived as problematic, as I am always open to learning and evolving.

This series is designed for those who wish to delve deeper into the Israel and Palestine conflict, to 'do their homework,' so to speak.
