Sonya Bean is a globally minded professional with a passion for language, culture, and storytelling. She holds a Law Degree with Honours from The City University of London, a Master’s Degree in International Relations with a concentration in Asia and Global Markets from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies with a minor in Japanese from The University of Tennessee. Her fluency in multiple languages, including Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic, has been instrumental in her studies, work, and travels across more than 20 countries.

As the founder of Bell Bean Global, Sonya is dedicated to creating a more informed, connected, and empathetic world. She firmly believes in the power of storytelling to bridge cultures, challenge perspectives, and bring people together—one story at a time. Outside of her professional pursuits, Sonya is a dedicated martial artist, training in Taekwondo, a skilled pianist, and a lifelong language learner. She is currently expanding her proficiency in Arabic, demonstrating her commitment to continuous personal growth and learning.
